Clinic advice & consulting
I will spend 1-2 days at your clinic with your team so that I can observe the clinical environment, the procedural workflow, as well as animal handling and client communication techniques, through a behaviour/Fear Free lens. I will then report my observations and recommendations to the clinic team, and help you find efficient ways to make your clinic and procedures less stressful for your patients (and their caregivers!).
I am also available for case discussion and advice, especially to help you plan for fearful patients requiring procedures.
Veterinary team training in-house
As a Fear Free expert speaker and Low Stress Handling certified, I can deliver workshops, talks, and lunch & learns to your clinic team or relevant interest groups.
Client information sessions
Pet caregiver education is one of the most important aspects of the veterinary profession, guaranteeing client trust and greater compliance. Sadly, in everyday practice it is not always feasible to dedicate time to education and outreach.
I can present informative talks or workshops for your clients, within or outside of clinic working hours, on various topics such as preventative behaviour advice, husbandry, senior pet care, training basics, and pain recognition.
